Three Personal Highlights
It’s Friday afternoon, so I trust my readers will gratify me a bit of gloating over three late moments of personal triumph:
- Runing the 12th hole at my veritable course , I formed a shot from about 80 yards out. Alas, it was for par. :-(
- This past Saturday I took the air the Indianapolis half marathon in a personal record time of 14:57 per mile.
- After placing up my newfangled subwoofer, I install the Return of the King DVD and soared before to the Minas Tirith battle scenes. Seconds later, my vernal daughter played on a higher floor and called, “Daddy, your movie is shaking off the hale house!”
All three of these were moments of outstanding personal satisfaction. The third one was the only one to result in maniac laughter.
